Weight Loss Visits
Our physicians can prescribe medications and supplements to help you reach your weight loss goals. The medications are used as tools along with healthy diet and exercise to facilitate weight loss. We take into consideration your current medical diagnoses along with current medications to find a medication regimen that works best for you.
We also offer lipotropic injections that you can receive as frequently as every week. These injections consist of various vitamins, nutrients, and other ingredients to aid in weight loss.
The prescribed appetite suppressant can be continued for 3-4 months. In some cases where continued weight loss is necessary, we are able to continue past the 4 month period but there must be weight loss on each monthly follow up to continue the medication.
We prescribe 30 days of medication, and require an in-person follow up visit to check on your progress. At the follow up visits, you will have the opportunity to discuss your weight loss plan.
In most cases, you will be able to do the weight loss program even if you are taking other medications. If you have been diagnosed with heart disease requiring bypass surgery or stents, have angina, have uncontrolled high blood pressure, or currently take stimulant medication for ADD/ADHD, you will not be able to take the appetite suppressant.
